Our team at Howry Breen & Herman, LLP is proud to announce that Partner Sean Breen has been inducted as a Fellow into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers (IATL) at the organization's 2026 Mid-Year Meeting in Yountville, California, held July 22-26.
Founded in 1954, the IATL is an invitation-only fellowship of trial lawyers dedicated to protecting and promoting the Rule of Law. Membership is limited to 500 active trial lawyers in the United States, joined by more than 150 Fellows from over 30 countries, representing plaintiffs and defense counsel in civil cases as well as prosecutors and criminal defense attorneys. Fellows are selected through a rigorous process of peer and judicial review and are recognized for their skill, experience, ethics, and civility in the courtroom.
Sean now joins Howry Breen & Herman, LLP Partner Randy Howry, who was inducted into the IATL in 2018, as a Fellow of the Academy.
A Career Built in the Courtroom
Sean has spent more than 25 years leading our trial team, helping our firm secure record-setting verdicts and recover hundreds of millions of dollars in compensation for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries. His courtroom record includes multiple Texas Verdicts Hall of Fame honors and recognition among the state's top verdicts and settlements. This induction reflects the same standard of excellence and dedication to trial advocacy that has defined his career.
We congratulate Sean on this well-deserved honor and look forward to his continued leadership within the Academy and our firm.
