Every year, Texas Super Lawyers® Magazine publishes its list of attorneys who, through a rigorous selection process, have been deemed outstanding in one of over 70 practice areas. Attorneys are nominated by their peers and selected for inclusion based on a multiphase evaluation and independent research into 12 separate indicators of professional ability and recognition.

Attorneys who are selected for inclusion in either Texas Super Lawyers or Rising Stars list have exhibited a significant degree of professional achievement, as recognized by their peers and confirmed by Texas Super Lawyers. Every year, the Super Lawyers® list honors only 5% of attorneys in each state, while the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list recognizes just 2.5% of attorneys in every state.
